EADC aims to provide the best possible services and activities to people with developmental disabilities. To empower individuals with Special needs by providing resources, tools that enhance their quality of life in their physical, social, cognitive and emotional growth and development. 

History

Evergreen Adult Development Center aims to be the leader in the advancement of services for those with developmental disabilities. Since our inception in 1989, we have grown to serve over 100 clients a day in the Santa Clara Valley. Our day program is licensed for 216 clients, and its participants range from consumers with mild to severe mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and the combination of the four.

Presently, we provide Sensory Stimulation Programs, High Functioning Program, Senior Program, Health Restricted Condition, and Behavior Intervention Program.  EADC serves ambulatory and non-ambulatory consumers.

Leadership

EADC has been established as a licensed facility through the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing under Title 22 regulations. The progam is vendored by (SARC) San Andres Regional Center under Title 17 regulations.

The Program Director of EADC, Deanna Corpuz is a California Registered Nurse with a B.S. in Nursing.  Deanna also holds a Master Degree in the Education of Exceptional Children(Special Education) from San Francisco State University.  She is also a state vendored provider of Initial Certification Training Program for ARF and Day Programs Administrators.

Program Director

Deanna L Corpuz is the founder and Program Director of Evergreen Adult Developement Center.  She started Corpuz Training Center in 1985 and merged it into EADC in 1991.  Deanna has a M.A. in Special Education from San Francisco State, a Masters in Public Administration Health Science from University of San Francisco, and a B.S. in Nursing from San Jose State University.

Caroline Mayo has been serving the developmentally disabled population for over 28 years.  Caroline holds a B.A. in Psychology from San Francisco State University.  Caroline is the Assistant Program Director of Evergreen Adult Development Center, overseeing 216 adults.    Caroline is a proud mother of four children, respected leader in the community and to her local church, and a committed wife of 13 years.

Catherine Koen is the Assistant Program Director of Evergreen Adult Development Center.  Catherine holds a B.S. in Social Work from San Jose State University.  Prior to this, Catherine has been an Assistant Program Director at Corpuz Training Center and a Adminstrator in a group home for at risk youth.  Catherine is a devoted wife and mother to 2 boys that is committed to providing quality services to the developmentally disabled population.
